Enterprise cloud infrastructure company Akave has announced the successful completion of a $6.65 million funding round. The company is officially launching Akave Cloud, an S3-compatible decentralized storage product. Akave Cloud is designed to offer a competitive pricing model of $14.99 per TB per month with zero egress fees and no vendor lock-in.

The platform operates on Akave's dedicated Avalanche Layer 1 public blockchain. Key features include verifiable auditing, on-chain programmable access control, and long-term archival to the Filecoin network. Akave Cloud is engineered to support data and AI/analytics workloads from platforms such as Snowflake and Apache Iceberg.
