‍Trump Media Considers Truth Social Spinoff to Focus on Crypto

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) is exploring the separation of Truth Social into a new public entity, SpinCo. This strategic move aims to allow TMTG to concentrate on its Truth.Fi fintech brand and institutional cryptocurrency holdings.

The restructuring involves a merger with Texas Ventures Acquisition III and integrates with TAE Technologies' fusion energy solutions for AI data centers. TMTG has significantly expanded its digital asset portfolio, holding over 11,500 BTC and a substantial amount of Cronos (CRO). The company has also filed for various crypto-linked ETFs. Despite a net loss of $712.3 million in fiscal year 2025 due to crypto market volatility, TMTG's total assets grew to approximately $2.5 billion.
