Trump Indicates Potential Four-Week Military Operation Against Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly addressed the recent fatalities of three American service members in Iran, marking the first time he has commented on U.S. casualties during the ongoing conflict.

"Unfortunately, that is something that can happen. Casualties can happen and they do happen and it's possible that it happens again," Trump stated, acknowledging these were the first such incidents of his second term.

Regarding the duration of the military engagement, Trump projected an estimated timeline. "We anticipate it will last for about four weeks. It's a big country and it will take about four weeks or shorter," he said. He also noted that the outcomes of the recent strikes have not been surprising to him.
