I’ve been in the same job for 20+ years, 2nd company, but same job. 9.5 years at the 1st place. Just hit 13 at the 2nd. 1st job was easy enough to stay at cuz I like money & had mouths to feed. 2nd one is way more enjoyable. Keeping my income & knowledge from years in the same job I went remote & bought a farm. While I sell my days for money I spend my night/weekends building my retirement, buying bitcoin & raising animals to be more free than I ever thought I could. The job stability let me look around & find something that was a strong fit for me & what I wanted to do with my life.
