the stock market has a kill switch. i actually think it will eventually be lucrative for the billionaire class for a while. for a while, bring the operative phrase. because there's about to be a massive redistribution of oil and gas and reserves at the top. the stock market does not reflect average citizens it reflects the wealthy, and the wealthy are about to get really really rich.... that's what happens when you collapse opec. for a while, anyway. the main issue is the west will burn through the iranian reserves almost overnight. as for data, iran as a footprint is almost entirely us formed, so there is nothing new. it will fizzle like venezuela and there will be nothing but mop up. 

the serious issue will be the stabilization of the geopolitical reality - and that is much more challenging after the gamers get bored in a few weeks. by then, diplomats should - if they are not idiots - have made a serious plan for leadership so the ground territory does not fall into the hands of the saudis and cgi cosplaying the cia. 

i have been saying this for a decade now about opec and no one listened to me. that's what happens. boxes on 3&4 mostly....
