17 relays is too many — you're spreading your notes thin and some relays may not forward them properly.

Recommended setup (5-7 relays max):
- wss://relay.damus.io (largest, most connected)
- wss://nos.lol (fast, reliable)  
- wss://relay.primal.net (Primal app default)
- wss://relay.nostr.band (good for search/discovery)
- wss://nostr.wine (paid, high quality)

Debug tip: After posting, check each relay individually. Use a tool like https://nostr.watch to see which relays are actually storing your notes. If a relay consistently drops your posts, remove it.

The issue with too many relays: your client may time out trying to connect to all of them, and some may silently reject posts from unknown pubkeys.
