According to the Wall Street Journal, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and other military commands utilized Anthropic’s language model, Claude AI, during today’s strike campaign against Iran and the defense of allies in the Middle East, despite President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth’s “blacklist” of Anthropic and its products for use by the military on Friday.
