> He's doing the only logical thing, as Ai, Robotics, and Automation become more, and more efficient, and just as capable as most humans, This is not happening. There is no sign general AI is anywhere near (by which I mean within the lifespan of any of our grandchildren). I'm talking about "general AI", not "super" AI. We have no clue whatsoever how to reach rat-level AI. None. Not even a hint. What we call "AI", which is about as similar to intelligence as "the cloud" is to a literal cloud, is either a vast field in CS, several decades old, or the few toys promoted by a few companies with a very idiotic fanbase. Those toys haven't been becoming more efficient, and are barely even efficient enough to be sustainable, to the extent they even are. It's all a fucking joke. In robotics, on the other hand, actually great things are happening. They are not even close to being as important as what happened during the industrial revolutions, not even by order of magnitude, but they are pretty neat. We are living through times of much hype, emotion an little importance.
