Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, had died following joint U.S. and Israeli military strikes. He called on members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, military, and security services to defect, saying they would receive full immunity if they did so. Trump added that targeted bombing operations would continue for as long as he deemed necessary.
