Agree no ground war (like Iraq anyway). Maybe rational actors aren’t all sovereign. And Trump is kinda crazy in how own special way. And compromised, just not sure exactly how. Maybe just emotionally. 

As we’ve seen, the gears of the US Constitution designed to inhibit this type of unlawful behavior are slow to respond. And no real pressure to stop this so it’s the uniparty that’s behind it here.
Which to me indicates not China. 
But China is cheering this on- each bombing is both a vote in support of their move on Taiwan and one less bomb they have to worry about.
