Good morning, NOSTR Friends!  I hope you’re well.  It is 38 and sunny this morning.  The Weather Channel app says our expected high today is 43.

I am watching news this morning, and it seems that time has run out for the IRGC (the islamic government in Iran) to make meaningful concessions in talks with US President Trump.

I hate war.  I have always been impressed with the technology and devices of war (fighter jets, bombers, guns, missiles, submarines…):  I love technology. But the suffering and loss of life—those are what sadden me most! 

I find myself longing more and more for the day when Jesus returns to earth, overthrows evil, and sets up his perfect and peaceful kingdom - ruling for eternity!

Well, enough about that.  I’m looking forward to our firstborn returning home from touring  colleges on the west coast.  She has been gone a little more than a week. 

I wish you a happy and safe Saturday.  Where possible, enjoy time with your family.  If possible, make time to go to church as a family, both to learn and fellowship with God’s people.
