Since a pizza was paid for with Bitcoin, it has been used as money; since it was used on Silk Road, Bitcoin has been used as money; since Wikileaks accepted it as donations, Bitcoin has been used as money. I don't give a damn what theoretical economists working for banks who charge in fiat money say.
