Alibaba Open-Sources CoPaw Desktop Agent Tool for Enhanced Customization

Alibaba has officially released its desktop agent tool, CoPaw, as open-source. This move allows users to conduct secondary development, integrate local models, create custom "Skills," and connect to exclusive messaging applications, thereby catering to more personalized user scenarios.

CoPaw offers native support for popular chat platforms including DingTalk, Feishu, QQ, Discord, and iMessage. The tool comes with a variety of built-in Skills. Users can opt for a one-click local deployment or leverage cloud deployment options through Alibaba Cloud's Computing Nest and Mudian Community's Creation Space. CoPaw also supports integration with leading models such as Alibaba's Qwen series. The company highlights that CoPaw is among the industry's agent tools with the lowest deployment threshold.
