personally, i think bitcoin is now on a downward trajectory. it was compromised by segwit, then taproot, and soon, bitvm and covenants. it will be effectively ethereum by under 3 halving cycles.

we need a new thing. bitcoin will be one of the spores, and nostr another. obsoleting money, which you may read incorrectly as socialism, will be possible with what inherits its former title as there is  no second best.

protocol politics is the root of the problem. the cure, is decentralised, emergent intelligence that assists people find optimal trades that resolve the barter problem without introducing a new lever.
