Trump Media & Technology Group Explores Spinoff of Truth Social into New Public Company

Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT.O) is reportedly in discussions to spin off its assets, including the social media platform Truth Social, into a new publicly traded entity. This move follows the company's completion of a $6 billion merger with nuclear energy firm TAE Technologies.

The shares of the proposed spun-off company are slated to be distributed to Trump Media & Technology Group's registered shareholders before the completion of the TAE transaction. Subsequently, the separated company is expected to merge with a special purpose acquisition company, Texas Ventures Acquisition III.

The strategic aim behind this proposed separation is to bifurcate Trump Media & Technology Group's social media operations from its investments in commercial fusion energy. This approach is intended to capitalize on the significant energy demand anticipated from the current artificial intelligence boom, positioning the company for growth.
