The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a statement over the weekend that prisoners at Israel’s Ofer Prison were being deprived of the proper knowledge of time, in order to begin and break their fast. The commission also said that in some cases, prisoners weren’t informed of Ramadan’s arrival in the first place. Meanwhile, Israeli forces have detained more than 100 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank since the start of Ramadan, including women, children, and former detainees, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said on Sunday. According to the rights group, more than 9,300 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons, including 350 children. Source: https://t.me/MiddleEastEye_TG/19777
