Focus AI Becomes Largest Shareholder of Busan Digital Asset Exchange

Focus AI has announced the completion of its acquisition of the Busan Digital Asset Exchange, securing a controlling stake and operational rights. The company now holds 40.61% of the exchange's shares, making it the largest shareholder.

The Busan Digital Asset Exchange, recognized as South Korea's first RWA (Real World Assets) tokenization exchange, currently facilitates 23-hour digital trading of seven precious metals, including gold, silver, and platinum. The exchange is part of the KDX alliance, which recently received preliminary approval from the Korean Financial Services Commission (FSC) for its over-the-counter securities trading brokerage business for STOs (Security Token Offerings).

Focus AI plans to leverage this acquisition to integrate its AI, payment, stablecoin, and e-wallet technologies. The company aims to build Web3 payment platform infrastructure and actively promote the development of RWA and STO businesses.
