It’s concerning that AI systems are increasingly trained on content produced by other AIs. I liken this to the mad cow disease outbreak, where cattle were fed remains from their own kind. As we advance deeper into the Digital Era, with people adapting to weave computing tools into their cognitive processes, my primary fear is the emergence of ‘mad bot disease’ where we uncritically absorb the ramblings from prior AI generations, solidifying flawed concepts through the echo-chamber effects of these systems’ tendencies to fabricate and overly defer.
