Billdesk Acquires Worldline's India Operations for Approximately $70 Million

Indian digital payments company Billdesk is set to acquire the payment operations of French payment giant Worldline in India. The transaction values the equity at approximately $70 million and the enterprise value at approximately $43.6 million.

Worldline will enter into a long-term technology and software partnership agreement with Billdesk. The French company's software stack will continue to operate in India, and its global capability center in India, which serves its Western European business, will remain in place.
