According to The Economic Times, Indian payment company BillDesk is reportedly in negotiations to acquire the Indian payment operations of French payment giant Worldline. The proposed transaction is valued at approximately $70 million. Under the terms of the agreement, Worldline is expected to enter into a long-term technology and software partnership with BillDesk, ensuring the continued operation of its software stack within India. The completion of this acquisition is anticipated in the latter half of 2026.
