During a briefing earlier today, Marco Rubio stated that Iran represents a “very grave threat” to the United States and is actively pursuing the development of intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S. mainland.

His remarks came as Tehran delivered a draft proposal to mediators from Oman in Geneva, Switzerland, ahead of a third round of indirect talks scheduled to begin tomorrow focusing on Iran’s ballistic missile activity and nuclear program.
