As a holder of the "Kyoshi 7th Dan," a title awarded to only a top few percent of elite practitioners by the All Japan Kendo Federation, undergoing a fundamental "system (body) replacement" was a grueling process that forced me to re-examine my very identity as a swordsman from the ground up.
However, I chose to redefine this experience not merely as medical recuperation, but as a comprehensive "rebuilding project" of both my physical capabilities and my mindset. In January 2026, after an unimaginably intense journey of self-transformation where I faced my absolute physical and mental limits, I finally stepped back into the dojo and gripped my shinai (bamboo sword) once again.
The greatest lesson I gained from this process is the power of "overwhelming resilience"—the ability to completely deconstruct oneself and update from zero. I am convinced that the fusion of the latest technology and the unwavering spirit I have cultivated through Kendo has provided me with a foundation that is stronger and more adaptable than ever before.
