Bitwise Acquires Chorus One, Bolstering Multi-Chain Staking Capabilities

Bitwise has announced the acquisition of institutional-grade staking service provider Chorus One, a move set to significantly enhance its multi-chain staking infrastructure. Chorus One currently manages over $2.2 billion in staked assets.

Following the integration, Chorus One will become part of Bitwise Onchain Solutions (BOS), expanding Bitwise's reach to more than 30 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) networks. This includes prominent blockchains such as Solana, Avalanche, Sui, NEAR, Aptos, and TON. The acquisition also brings 50 technical professionals into the Bitwise team, strengthening its protocol and governance research capabilities.

This strategic acquisition brings Bitwise's total employee count to nearly 200 and increases its managed client assets to over $15 billion.
