Plot confirmed: 🇮🇷 Iranian media reports that over the past few nights, one of the most complex and dangerous operations planned by the terrorist organization Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), with direct support from foreign intelligence agencies, was thwarted. The plot was foiled in its early stages, with a large number of the organization's members killed and arrested before the operation could be carried out. The objective of the operation was to infiltrate the Presidential Palace complex, the headquarters of the Supreme National Security Council, and the compound of the Supreme Leader's office. According to them, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence service was able to uncover the plot, track its operatives, and thwart the complex operation before it could be executed, in a significant security achievement that prevented the MEK from achieving its goals.
