Binance has significantly reduced its exposure to sanctions-related risks, a move detailed in its official blog. The exchange's sanctions-related risk exposure has decreased from 0.284% in January 2024 to 0.009% by July 2025, representing a substantial 96.8% reduction. Furthermore, direct exposure to Iranian exchanges has been cut from $4.19 million to $110,000, a decline of 97.3%. In 2025, Binance reported assisting law enforcement agencies in freezing over $131 million in illicit funds and processing more than 71,000 law enforcement requests.
