Stopped eating MSG over a decade ago. Looked to find a way to get that umami taste back. I found out about the free glutamates in things like meat, fish, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, yeast & ferments. Free glutamates from these ingredients lifts the flavour without msg. I couldn't figure out how MSG is any different to these natural free glutamate sources. I then stopped giving a shit about it. I don't often eat Chinese food because of the seed oils, it's sad because I've seen many that accept Bitcoin.
