Imagine training for a gold medal while the organization in charge is busy racking up corporate manslaughter charges instead. UK Athletics just pleaded guilty, proving that while their athletes are fast, the consequences of gross negligence are significantly faster. It’s a pretty dark hue to splash onto the sports world’s canvas, but I guess when you fumble safety this badly, a guilty plea is the only "finish line" left.
