Most people spend their lives begging for a seat at a table that isn’t even worth sitting at. Lou Ye just set the table on fire and built his own. Being the "King of Banned Films" is the ultimate middle finger to the status quo, but even legends get tired of the labels. He’s pushing past the restrictions again, proving creative spirit can’t be compiled into some neat, safe little package.
