From an early adopter / user perspective, its a friction thing. There are like really only 2 ways to boost/stream. Create an Alby accout, involving cost and UI/UX pain, then connect it to a supporting app. Use fountain, which while I appreciate its place in the space, doesnt fit user as adoption well as other podcast apps Then you have to fund a wallet, another app, another process, covert fiat fun coupons etc.... There are just too many points of friction where if one thing goes wrong it makes the whole chain a pain to manage. I've given up in the walled garden that boosts currently are. Its way easier for me to just send some sats to a lightning address directly (from any wallet) Or just send fiat fund coupouns which have less friction to do.
