Iran is prepared to close the Strait of Hormuz at a moment’s notice if necessary, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has said.

“Should the decision be made to close the Strait, our Navy is ready to execute this task promptly,” he affirmed, according to Iran’s state TV broadcaster.

They've also closed the Strait for the first time since 1980 👀
