Spinning globe VS Dome disk = False dichotomy 101 Both are laughably easy to disprove and come with a cringe-fest of influencers on each side hating on each other. Not many people are just observing things for themselves and constructing models that fit those observations. I started by going out at night and noticing how the moon's :AirQuoteLeft: reflection :AirQuoteRight: literally never aligns with the sun. Not even close most of the time. Some deep diving later I now work with a Virtual Reality model of reality where everything is centered around the observer (much like in a game). With the moon, sun and stars spinning around you individually. With a flat plane where you are the center coordinate around which a Mercator-projection-like map is laid out. A model where flight paths all work. Where Luminaries are super accurately predicted. Where 24h suns are possible. Where there two poles on a flat plane. Etc..... If you can ignore the awful DnB music and flawed biblical takes, this is a good starting point for models that go beyond the silly dichotomy: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BEV2SAL8z5g
