I remember this happening. Life has changed considerably in the last 35 years. As I said before, I have never been to China yet so I have no clue if they are more oppressed than we are, or not. I refuse to be drawn into that. 

We are told so many lies. Travelling helps one see them. I have travelled extensively and can assure you, what we are told is almost always a lie.
