The unpredictability of the expense was the last nail in that coffin, for me. No where else in business is it okay to charge more for your product when your equipment is failing or if you're having a bad day, then blame it on the customer. I know some of that could be mitigated if I understood the code, which requires the time to learn to read and write it. That's preferable to me anyway. But by the time I have that figured out, we'll probably have sensors in bathroom mirrors that extract our morning agenda thoughts from facial expressions while we're brushing our teeth, and sends a message to whatever device thingy is cool at the time, to create disposable tools for any tasks that need to be done that day. At that point, I think I'd rather just go work in my garden. 😅
