The story you are getting about China, Ukraine, Iran, about Russia, about Cuba, it has been filtered through layers of institutional interest before it reaches you. Every outlet answers to something. A government. An advertiser. A narrative. Every single one.

The people who are suffering under the worst information regimes on earth are looking for a signal. They are looking for proof that the world can hear them without a middleman deciding whether the message is worth carrying. We have built the infrastructure for exactly that and we have mostly kept it to ourselves as far as I can see.

Serious question. I haven’t checked or seen it. Are we translating onboarding Nostr guides and pushing this as far as we can?
