🇻🇪 Venezuela’s Vice President for Communication and Culture, Miguel Pérez Pirela, officially rejected a Bloomberg report claiming Caracas shipped crude oil to the Israeli occupation, calling it “fake news,” according to teleSUR. 

￭ Bloomberg’s report alleged Venezuela sent its “first crude oil shipment to Israel in years after Maduro’s capture” via Bazan Group, citing anonymous sources and unverified claims. ❌❌

￭ TeleSUR stressed that “This type of ‘fake news’ seeks to undermine the country's international image and generate uncertainty about its governance.”

￭ Venezuela severed diplomatic ties with Israel in 2009 in protest of the Gaza 2008-2009 massacre, and continues to support the Palestinian cause, and condemns Israeli genocidal and expansionist policies. ✅ 

￭ This comes at a time when Washington intensifies efforts to project control over Venezuela’s resources while trying to fragment the ruling Chavista movement.
