Venezuela sent its first crude oil shipment to Israel in years, following the reopening of its oil exports after US forces captured President Nicolás Maduro in January. The cargo is headed to Haifa’s Bazan Group, Israel’s largest refinery, Bloomberg reports. Kpler data shows this would be the first Venezuelan oil delivery to Israel since mid‑2020, when it imported about 470,000 barrels. Venezuela recently expanded its customer base beyond China, with new shipments going to India, Spain, and the United States.
