According to Axios, President Donald J. Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner held discussions with Russian officials on the sidelines of Ukraine peace talks in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Thursday, negotiating a possible extension of New START, the last remaining nuclear arms reduction treaty between the United States and Russia.
