Haven't played myself either (well, an occasional StarCraft II match or another in the last decade, I never even finished the campaign). One way or another, real or fake, positive or negative impressions, this is the way to string connections and any sense of network value. I have to admit that my mute list is not exactly small (this goes beyond just being picky, devs and vocal folks often get target on Nostr), but other than a few welcoming spaces for beginners and enthusiastic thematic communities I prefer to do my own clean up instead of having a poor, overworked, likely volunteer mod doing this ungrateful job on my behalf. Still, I'm all for some of these grants to go for relay curators looking after some of the experimental relays that Fiatjaf and others are designing. I was hopeful a few times with some of these relays. That is, until the usual BS finds its way into those places and ruin everything (folks managed to turn even a relay with curared content about flowers, pets and gardening stuff into the usual BTC circle jerk with occasional touchs of anti-semitism imported from Twitter. We really need to pay folks to deal with this if we want a non toxic option for new accounts)
