Prometheum Secures $23 Million in Additional Funding to Expand US Digital Asset Market Operations

New York, NY – Prometheum, a provider of digital asset market infrastructure, announced it has successfully closed an additional $23 million funding round. The investment, led by a group of high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, aims to fuel the company's commercial expansion within the U.S. digital markets.

The capital infusion will primarily support two key strategic initiatives. Firstly, Prometheum will enhance its clearing services for U.S. broker-dealers to facilitate digital asset trading, enabling clients to transact digital assets through their existing brokerage accounts. Secondly, the company plans to accelerate the issuance of blockchain-based digital-native and tokenized securities, leveraging its broker-dealer network for distribution.

This latest funding follows a $20 million financing round that Prometheum completed in December 2024.
