silver is not a turd. maybe if you are chasing fiat gainz, it is, but aside from the fact that it's a useful chemicial for medical purposes, you can literally use it to disinfect a wound by putting a 999 silver coin on the wound (don't do it with impure because fuck knows what garbage they mix em with).

it's also useful as money when the internet gets blowed away by the sun taking out the grid and satellites. which is probably going to happen in the next ten years several times. there's a reasonable chance we won't, but i'm very much leaning towards moving some allocation to silver myself, in the future. gold has uses too, for radiation shielding, but infections will be the biggest kililer wiith no grid and no sewers and no sterilised clean water. simply dropping your pure silver coin in a glass of water and give it a while and the water is clean, and this will consume almost none of the coin.

sure, PMs have been papered over and suppressed, but eventually the physical demand meets the fake paper price. it's never a bad idea to stack PMs. gold, silver, bitcoin, iron, brass and lead. that's the road to a future.
