The resistor in a space heater is often red hot metal, easily capable of lighting a fire. Miner asics run around 60c. Not saying it can't happen but far fewer things catch fire at that temperature and things have to got very wrong to get much hotter.

Bitaxe are fun but even a qaxe is 100w, nothing compared to the standard 1500w of a space heater.
