Say I run a small business on nostr and I struggle to keep up with demand because I'm a 1 man shop. I could go simple first come first served. Or I could say I will prioritize orders by loyal customers and referrals from loyal customers.

The huge and fundamental difference is that their is no single central provider of scores that punishes people for not obeying the guidance from the scores they give.

With American credit bureaus or Chinese social credit a single provider is forced onto everyone and that is the violence that makes it wrong. With WoT each user selects from a market of providers including none based on their personal choice.

Back to basic anarchist non aggression principles. Show me the violence in the WoT system and I'll recant and join your side. Right now all I see is that their is a market demand so preventing this from happening requires violence from the anti crowd.
