I grew sanchu in a miso pot and a 2-liter PET bottle. I wanted to observe how long the roots would grow. The sanchu in the miso pot grew longer than the one in the PET bottle, but its stems were thinner. https://image.nostr.build/2bb21b2a17df5fddaedc51ff1f18d5a42cbe7793ba9f80b0b3fca44796ba21cf.jpg https://image.nostr.build/6195819f44445f79ea83ce2e74a50a1559ad09f02041a74656a3c9f4a3c6644c.jpg I found one sanchu with yellowing leaves, probably due to the cold or a lack of nutrients. I replanted it in a hydroponic system. It was very small and fit inside a tomato can. The roots were white, long, and strong. Now it is growing freely in the water. https://image.nostr.build/f419d71c5e3fc756bd220a3093f66d9ef3cb104423f74ca7fc08df178eb7a9ab.jpg https://image.nostr.build/0ace913332c82d3a8029d01dd350f59d8561d80323cc6b8311aad02a9426cc3e.jpg https://image.nostr.build/428472243ae6386723612ffcaa8458e4f659755bd0efdd5ee117e10dde77ba78.jpg
