You typically don’t want to use seedlings started in soil in a hydroponic system because their roots get used to soil so quickly. You typically want to start hydroponic seedling in a substrate that can be moved to the system readily like rockwool or coconut coir clay pellets etc. 

Does the place you get them from have ones ready for hydroponics?
