You'll always be able to buy fedcoins, they are endorsed and promoted on all the normie channels. It is basically a fun thing like buying stocks and profits as long as you KYC and don't send them to offline wallets, of course. Monero and others will thrive outside the developed world but I'm not certain about adoption. The reality is that currencies aren't really a way to store value across borders/time. There are of course the "strong" currencies as a kind of exception but monero isn't one of them. So even in those cases, people would still opt to accumulate USD, EUR or gold. On the other hand, when you are already poor then you don't have a realistical chance to obtain crypto when you barely can acquire enough of the local currency. We are easily fooled to believe otherwise because we on this platform are outliers and will sacrifice our poverty to acquire some crypto but that isn't the case for 99,99999% of poor people across the world. In my opinion we need a kind of crypto that goes beyond blockchains and monopolies by groups of miners. A mechanism for every single person to create their own value and trade it with others.
