They are nice, but I would rather have the 60 Bitcoin I could have bought instead of the miner that got used by butterfly labs for like six months before they finally sent them out and they quickly became obsolete..... Bastards. But, yes mined coins are much more precious and pristine. Having proof of ownership to the coinbase transaction is nice.
